The Banished Beta's Saving Grace

Eli Gunnar has been on the run most of his life, after the Alpha of his pack killed his father, blaming him for the death of the Alpha and Beta heirs. At only twelve years of age, Eli was banished in an act of "mercy" by the Alpha. Less than a year later, in an attempt to save the only person who was kind to him in his banishment, Eli was found with a dead Luna Estella in his arms. He was immediately blamed for her death and was hunted until her son, Liam, finally caught him. It was only because of Liam's mate, Angel, a Guardian with the gift of tasting deceit, that the real story of what happened to his brother, father, and himself was told and believed. Afterward, Liam let him go, giving him money and a bus ticket to start a new life. On this journey, he stumbled across his fated mate, but she doesn't have a wolf. Grace is the only child of Alpha Edgar Winters and his fated mate, Luna Paige. For the first ten years of her life, she is spoiled, the darling of the pack. She is to become the next Alpha, taking over for her father. However, when Grace does not get her wolf at age ten, her father changes, becoming angry and distant. He banishes her from the pack when she still does not receive her wolf on her 12th birthday. Rather than let her daughter die a rogue, Paige leaves the pack to care for her young daughter, leaving her mate. Living in the human world, Grace watches as the ruptured mate bond slowly kills her mother, leaving her alone in the world at age 16. However, that all changes on her 18th birthday when she not only awakens with a wolf, but a Guardian. Now, the hunters are coming. They have heard of the Guardians and these supernaturals' strength, and they want them dead. Grace will have to trust Eli as a mate and partner and join forces with the other Guardians, whom she feels a strange connection to, to defeat this new foe and begin the life she was always meant to have – the leader of her pack.
